About the event
Roses: An Exhibition and Amateur Show will take place on May 9th at the Sherman Library and Gardens, 2647 East Coast Highway in Corona del Mar. Entries for the Amateur Rose Show will be accepted from 8 - 10 a.m. at the side gate on Dahlia Avenue (no fee to enter). Please place each rose in a disposable plastic container (roses and containers will not be returned). Each person entering a rose will receive a ticket for the prize drawing to take place later in the day (one ticket per person, regardless of the number of flowers entered). Roses will not be judged, though one will be selected as Best in Show. The event will open to the public at 10:30 a.m., and regular Sherman Gardens entry fees apply (though OCRS members wearing their name tags will not be charged an entry fee).
