Let the OCRS Show You How
The Orange County Rose Society (OCRS) was founded in 1964 in Orange County, California. The organization is dedicated to promoting the cultivation of roses, educating the public about roses and their care, and sponsoring rose competitions. We are an affiliate of the American Rose Society (ARS) and part of the Pacific Southwest District of the ARS. New members are always welcome. We meet the first Thursday of the month (except July and August) at 7 p.m. at the Westminster Community Center, 8200 Westminster Avenue (corner of Jackson Street/Westminster Avenue). Our meetings are always free and open to the public, and there is no charge for parking in the lot behind the building.
Learn more about roses
The OCRS offers many ways for the public to learn about roses. Our monthly meetings begin with a meet-and-greet and feature a guest speaker. Meetings are open to the public. Annual membership in the OCRS is $20 and includes 10 issues of our award-winning newsletter delivered by e-mail to your inbox. The newsletter contains monthly tips and expert articles on rose care, current news from the world of roses and much more! And . . . if you are looking for basic information on roses or rose-related problems, please visit our "Rose Care" pages. Click any of the links below to get started. If you can't find the information you need, please use the "Contact" page form to send us a message!
The next meeting of the OCRS will take place on Thursday October 6. Roland Chan of Organic First will be speaking about his company's products.
